How to create an auto-responder:

Autoresponders can be used to send a message back automatically to anyone who sends an Email to a certain account. This can be useful when you are unavailable.

1) Click on 'Auto responder' link in the 'Mail' window.

2) Click the 'Add Auto-responder link.

3) Enter the Email address for which you want to create your Auto-responder.

4) In case you have multiple domains, be sure to select the correct one for your auto-responder.

5) Enter the 'From' details as you want them to appear in the from field of your auto-response.

6) You can leave 'Character Set' settings to 'us-ascii' under normal circumstances.

7) You have a option of sending your auto-response in HTML format. By default it will be sent in plain text.

8) Enter the body of your auto-response.

9) Click the create/modify button. The auto-responder has been successfully created.
