How to enable Two-Factor Authentication for cPanel

                                                    What is Two-Factor Authentication in cPanel

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in cPanel is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your cPanel account. In addition to your regular username and password, it requires a second form of verification, usually a time-based code generated by an app on your mobile device.

Benefits of Enabling 2FA: Increased security – even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the code.

 

                                                        How to Enable 2FA in cPanel:

1) Log in to cPanel.

2) Search and Click "Two-Factor Authentication".

 

3)Click on "Set up Two-Factor Authentication"

 

4)You will get below screen . Scan the QR code using an authentication app on your phone and Enter the 6-digit code from the mobile app and click on "Configure Two-Factor Authication" to complete setup.

5)You will get successfully authentication below screen.

 

6) Once set up, you’ll be required to use both your password and the authentication code every time you log in.
