How to Purchase and Activate a Comodo Paid SSL from the Client Area

1. Log in to the client portal using link below
https://dashboard.stradsolutions.com/

2. After logging you can click on the SS-SSL option



3. Choose the SSL certificate that you want to buy. Select the certificate and click on the continue button.



4. To proceed with the SSL certificate, we need a CSR certificate. 


First, you need to generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request).

* For Windows Servers: You must generate the CSR directly from your server. Follow the guide below to generate a CSR in Windows IIS: 
How to Generate CSR in Windows IIS.

* For Linux Servers: You can generate the CSR online or through cPanel/WHM. Make sure to securely store the private key.

5. After generating the CSR. Firstly, select this option "Yes, I have CSR ready.". After that, past the CSR certificate in the mentioned block, and with that select the server option 
If you have Windows server, then select "Microsoft IIS", And If you are using a Linux server, then select Apache2. And Enter the domain name in the "Common Name" Section. 
After filling in all the information, click on the continue option. Please check the screenshot below. 





5. After that, fill the contact details in the next step



6. After that Select the Domain Control Validation method(DNS, Mail, file base).

     * Email Validation: You will recived an authentication mail
     * DNS-based Validation: They provide a TXT or CNAME record; we only need to add a TXT in the dns zone file.
     * HTTP-based Validation : File-based Authentication, where you will get code and you have to upload it in the path which is provided by them



7.  After this step, complete the payment process and then click on the checkout button. Then your order is successfully created. 



8.  Login to the client area and open the services option in then click on SS-SSL. Then you're able to see your SSL order.



9. Display the page below and click on the arrow ->



10. Click on option certificate setup and paste the CSR certificate in the below block and select the server software as Apache (select as per your requirment)
if you are using Windows IIS then select the IIS option then click on the submit button.

(If you have already uploaded the CSR while ordering the SSL, then skip this step )





11. To proceed to the next step, make sure you will pay the invoice. In the related invoice section, you got the invoice details. 

12. After that Select the Domain Control Validation method(DNS, Mail, file base). 
(If you have already selected the DCV, then skip this step and click on complete order.)




13. After click on complete order, you will receive the CNAME record. In screenshot below shows. For generating the SSL certificate 
Make sure you complete the domain validation process. 
If you want, you can change the DCV method. 



After adding the dns records click on the "Verify DNS record for domain"



14  After completing the above process, you have to download the certificate here
Click on the Certificate details and then click on download cert



15. After receiving your SSL certificate, you can proceed with the installation on your server.
