How to Submit an Outlook / Hotmail Email Delisting Request

If your emails are being blocked or marked as spam by Microsoft Outlook (Outlook.com / Hotmail / Live), you can request removal by submitting a delisting request directly to Microsoft.

Important Prerequisite: Verify DNS Records Before Submitting Delist Request

Before submitting a delisting request to Microsoft Outlook, it is mandatory to ensure that all required email authentication records are properly updated and publicly visible.

Microsoft may reject or ignore delist requests if DNS records are missing or incorrectly configured.

Go to:
https://dnschecker.org

Verify SPF Record

Select TXT record type
Enter your domain name (example: example.com)

Verify DKIM Record

Select TXT record type
Enter DKIM selector with domain

Example:
selector1._domainkey.example.com

Verify DMARC Record

Select TXT record type

Enter:
_dmarc.example.com

Confirm Global Propagation
Ensure records are visible from multiple locations
If some locations show ❌, wait up to 24 hours for DNS propagation

Only After Successful DNS Verification

Once SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are confirmed as correctly published and propagated, proceed to submit the Outlook Delisting Request.
