How to disable database grouping feature in phpmyadmin.

By default, phpMyAdmin groups databases by their initial letter for easier navigation. However, if you prefer to view all databases in a flat list without any grouping, you can follow the below steps.

  1. Open phpMyAdmin in your web browser.

  2. On the phpMyAdmin home page, locate the "Settings" tab in the top navigation bar and click on it.

  3. Within the "Settings" page, click on the "Navigation Panel" tab.

  4. In the "Navigation tree" section, you will find the option "Group items in tree". Uncheck this option to disable the grouping of databases.

  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button to apply the changes.

Once you have saved the settings, phpMyAdmin will no longer group the databases alphabetically, and you will see a flat list of databases without any grouping when you access the navigation panel.
