Adding a New Domain in Plesk Panel

 

Step 1: Log in to Plesk

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Plesk control panel URL (e.g., https://IP:8443).

  2. Log in using your administrator credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Domains Section

  • In the Plesk dashboard, locate and click on the “Domains” or “Websites & Domains” tab. This may vary based on your Plesk version.

Step 3: Add a New Domain

  • Click the “Add Domain” or “Add Domain/Subdomain” button.

Step 4: Enter Domain Information

  • Domain Name:

    • Enter the new domain name (e.g., example.com).

  • Hosting Type:

    • Choose the hosting type. If you want to host a website, select “Website hosting.”

  • Hosting Settings:

  • Web Statistics:

    • Choose whether to enable web statistics for the domain.

  • WordPress Toolkit (if available):

    • Enable or disable WordPress Toolkit support for the domain.

Step 6: Complete the Process

  • Review the entered information to ensure accuracy.

  • Click the “OK,” “Create,” or “Add Domain” button to complete the domain creation process.

Step 7: Update DNS Records (if necessary)

  • If you're managing DNS in Plesk, make sure to update DNS records accordingly.

Step 8: Verify Domain Configuration

  • After the domain is added, verify its configuration by visiting the domain in a web browser.
