How to Use PuTTY to Access Your Server with ssh key in windows.

1. How to Download Putty in Windows.

Download the latest version of PuTTY SSH from the official website. Be sure to select the right bit version for your computer. Once the file is downloaded, run the installer to start the setup.

2. Open PuTTY.

3. In the "Host Name (or IP address)" field, enter the server IP.

4. Under "Port", enter the correct SSH port (default is 22, or your assigned port).




5. In the left panel, go to Connection > SSH > Auth.

6. Click "Browse" and select the provided .ppk private key file.




7. (Optional) Under Connection > Data, enter your username (e.g., root) in the Auto-login username field.




8. Go back to the Session tab, give the session a name, and click Save.


9. Finally, click Open to initiate the connection.

Congratulations! You have successfully connected to your account using the PuTTY SSH client.
