How to configure SmarterMail to reduce incoming and outgoing spam emails

SmarterMail can be configured to reduce incoming and outgoing spam emails by up to 90–95%. Following are some of the recommendations to prevent Incoming and Outgoing spam emails:

Enable SmarterMail Greylisting Feature

Greylisting is a feature which SmarterMail supports to protect email users from receiving spam.

The sender, receiver, and sending server IP addresses are noted when an email is received from a sender who has not been whitelisted or who was previously unknown using this Greylisting method. After this, Greylisting will then reject the  message.
